Creation And Practice Of Short Films On Realism In The Urban Context

As a professional master's graduate,the author's graduation project,"close neighbour",is a short film about the realistic theme of the empty nesters and the left behind children in Shanghai as a space background.As an art form,"realism" has a simple concept of "art is natural reproduction or imitation of nature" at the beginning of the birth of the film.This ancient Greek philosophy has penetrated into the contemporary realistic theme of film creation.The "realistic theme" film,in short,is a movie that reflects the real life of the society;it puts the angle of view into the real life and pays attention to the social problems with the humanistic feelings.With the development of new media,the creation of short films has ushered in a brand new era.Various types of film clips emerge in an endless stream.Surrealism films such as drama and fantasy play have good hits on all platforms.At the same time,because of the concern for reality,the films of realistic themes often arouse people's thinking and remain enduring.And I wrote a short film about distant relatives and neighbors,which is a film with humanistic feelings and concerns about social reality and social problems.During the whole creation process,I watched a number of Chinese and foreign classics of the long realism of the film,the narrative structure and creative techniques,which also provided a creative thinking for my short film,"close neighbour",the specific creative ideas,will be discussed in a heavy point as follows:In the introduction of the first chapter,the background and significance of the thesis are briefly introduced,and the existing research results and present situation of the urban film and the short film of realism are briefly analyzed,and the research methods of this paper are briefly explained.The second chapter first combed the film development history of the movie in our country under the realistic theme of the urban background,and then discussed the threefeatures of the realistic theme film under the urban background: 1,the real details of the details;2,the typical image;3,the objectivity of the specific way of description.The third chapter briefly introduces the synopsis of distant relatives and neighbors,and analyzes the creation of short films from the perspective of narrative structure and theme.The fourth chapter analyzes the narrative methods of the short distance close neighbor from the aspects of characters,plots,props,comic style and so on.The fifth chapter explains and summarizes the creation and practice of the short film of realism under the background of the city,and analyzes the advantages and innovations of the short film "close neighbour",and also gives a summary and Reflection on the shortcomings.
