Zigao Research

Zigao's name is Gaochai,who is thirty years younger than Confucius and is one of Confucius' outstanding disciples in his later years.Zigao knows how to observe the ritual and has a heart of forgiveness.He was deeply praised and favored by Confucius,and Confucius praised him as “a good officeholder”.Zigao is an official in the State of Lu and Wei for four times.He has served as a official of Fei,Cheng and Wucheng in the Lu,Law Enforcement Officer in the Wei.It is one of the most frequent and longest times in the Confucius Disciples.This article intends to study and research Zigao's life,fellowship,political practice,and ideological characteristics in depth and in detail on the basis of other people's research.The full text is divided into three chapters:The first chapter focuses on the research and discussion of Zigao's name,country,family,year of birth and death,where the tomb is located,and his personal image.In order for people to understand Zigao and his academic contributions and historical status more comprehensively and accurately.The second chapter focuses on Zigao with Confucius and other Confucius' s student,Zigao's worship system in the Confucius Temple.The first section generally introduces the transformation of Confucius' s attitude towards Zigao and Zigao's inheritance and development of Confucianism.The second section introduces and compares the communication between Zigao and other Confucius disciples,such as Zilu,Zigong,and Zengzi.The third section discusses Zigao's position in the ancestor worship system of the Confucius Temple,and Zigao's process,position change,and reason as well as the role of promoting Chinese excellent traditional culture.The third chapter focuses on the political practice of Zigao.Zigao is a person who keeps his courtesy and is accessible.He is good at handling political affairs and he has held official positions in states such as Lu and Wei.The first section discusses the influence of Qi culture for Zigao.The second section focuses on Zigao's official experience in Lu.Section III starts from the political practice of Zigao in the Wei State,and briefly analyzes the reasons for Zigao as a official and related deeds in Wei.
