The study of Confucius's disciples, has been important content of the study of Confucius and the history of the Confucianism development. Confucius's disciples, are not only the initial recipients and disseminators of Confucianism, but also the initial individuals who experience and practice Confucianism. Thus through the unscrambling of their thinking and understanding, connotations of their personalities and psychological experience, we can not only review their learning course, but also gain a more approachable and in-depth understanding on Confucius and Confucianism. Ran Yong was a deep man whose political proposition was "do loftily and live simply" and resembled Confucius's "Using the morality to deal with the politics" purports. But his political personality varied from Confucius's urgency with the World, while his political thinking and ideological attitude resembled Taoism. Born as a social bottom rank, ZiLu had so exuberant vitality that he almost became a symbol of the individual will of life. The advantages and disadvantages of his individual personalities were rooted in this exuberant vitality. The inherent contradictions of human beings between vital will and moral logos, determined the inconsistent and intimate relationship between ZiLu and Confucius. YanHui was exactly the contrary, whose introverted and close personality characteristics made himself highly obey Confucius "self-governance" theory. He was the symbol of Confucian moral logos, though excessive self-restraint, the exclusion of natural appetency and spiritual precocity, might be reasons of the premature death of YanHui. "Ci did not accept the order", so he could grasp an appropriate extent between moral logos and natural appetency. His reasonable exertion and application of Confucianism "Zhongshu". made him achieve so prominent success in both business and diplomacy that he was wealthy to balance out a seigneur and famous. ZaiYu had many contradictions with Confucius and Confucius did not like him most , though he was one of the "10- philosopher", and it is quite suspicious of his identity. His "duansang", was a theory with things in common with Monism. A comprehensive look at,although these five disciples had different ideological character, Confucius could treat them to be useful person based on their different talent. through reviewing their growthing learning course,we not only appreciate the masterly education art of Confucius again, but also gain a more approachable and in-depth understanding on Early Confucianism.
