Creative Design Of "Shu Song Ti" Font

With the development of computer digital technology and printing technology,there has been a variety of changes in the use of Chinese characters.In order to meet the computer's need for fonts,technicians have developed a large number of different fonts to form a font library,which makes font design and use no longer subject to technical constraints,and new font design is also more possible.However,there is still a big gap between the computer fonts designed and developed in China and those in Europe,America and Japan.The development and design of fonts,investment in human and material resources,and protection of intellectual property rights still need to be further improved.It is gratifying to note that a group of scholars and designers who are obsessed with the study of Chinese character fonts have carried out a lot of practice around the structure and aesthetics of fonts.Many of them have been converted into commercial application fonts.These fonts have inherited the Chinese cultural context in their design,carried out bold innovations on the basis of maintaining the traditional cultural genes,and also formed a situation of font design in which a hundred flowers blossom." Song style" is a kind of Chinese character font formed in order to adapt to printing.It originated from sculpture and was formed in the southern song dynasty.It matured in the Ming dynasty.Because of its thick and thin strokes and decorative corners at the ends or corners,it is dignified and generous.It has also gradually become a widely used font and a font with high usage in the modern digital media era.This thesis attempts to design a new song typeface-loose body by studying the song typeface and absorbing the historical style and cultural characteristics contained in the song typeface.Based on the song characters,this paper first combs the song characters from the aspects of history development and cultural significance.Then,from the design point of view,analyze the song characters,analyze the stroke characteristics,font structure,character making rules,font words and sentences of the song characters one by one,and summarize the aesthetic characteristics and cultural implications of the song characters.Finally,on the basis of the above research,the design of " sparse song style" font is completed by combining the modern aesthetic needs with the traditional song style and taking simplicity,applicability and sense of the times as the design goals.
