Research On The Development And Application Of Song Style Characters

As a bridge of communication between people,characters are the most intuitive and accurate form of transmitting information and expressing emotions.Among the numerous characters in the world,Chinese characters have the longest history.They have not been destroyed with natural disasters,disappeared due to foreign invasion,or interrupted by wars.Chinese characters can be passed down and developed from generation to generation.Printing is indispensable.When it comes to printing,of course,one will think of printed fonts.It is only with standardized printed fonts that books can be mass produced.More and more people come into contact with Chinese characters and teach them to the next generation,thus avoiding the interruption of Chinese characters due to accidents such as wars.During the Zhenguan years of the Tang Dynasty,the seeds of the Song characters sprouted under engraving printing.During the Wanli years of the Ming Dynasty,the Song characters became formal printed characters.It took 800 to 900 years from their appearance to maturity,making the mature Song characters not only easy to engrave and print,but also easy to read.It is a great progress for the engraving history and a revolution for the development history of Chinese characters.It runs through the three fields of calligraphy,printing and design.Song typeface appears in our life all the time and takes up a large proportion in the typeface.Nowadays,whether it is printed or electronic products,the typeface appears dazzling on all platforms.However,Song typeface has been the first of the four major typefaces for a long time and has been the main typeface since the 16th century.Its wide range of use and high frequency of use are obvious to all.It is suitable for various occasions with its solemn,dignified and generous image.This is like a cycle,in the process of using the continuous discovery of problems,make improvements,the more suitable for use,the more suitable for use.With the development of society,books are within reach of people from a small number of people.Song style is moving from printing and publishing to screen reading.The difference between screen display and publications makes changes and adjustments to Song style,which is also applicable to screen reading.In this paper,the development and evolution of Song characters and the application of some representative Song characters are studied.At the same time,combined with the innovative design methods and applications of Song characters in the new media era,font design is further developed.Based on the inscriptions of Song characters in different periods,this paper analyzes and studies the background,development process and many influencing factors during the development of Song characters,clarifies the relationship and development between Song characters and their tributaries,classifies and sums up the application of Song characters in the new era,studies and discovers the application rules from a new perspective,and provides reference for people to choose many Song characters in the computer font library.
