Johannes Brahms(1833-1893)is one of the most important composers in the history of German music.His works are deeply influenced by classicism,and at the same time he is also involved in romantic lyric temperament,with strong emotions and conflicting conflicts.Brahms's works involve symphonies,chamber music,Piano Variations,and other genres,piano works is his music creation is his starting point,the essence of which advanced several piano pieces is the essence of his life creation,has high artistic value.Piano works Op.118 is a mature classic written by Brahms in the late period.Many famous performers have interpreted this work.Many theorists have analyzed this work from no perspective.However,no one has done a comparative analysis from the aspect of performance version.The three famous performers William Kempff(Germany),Radu LuPu(Romania),William backhaus(Germany)the interpretation of the version comparison and analysis,so as to get deeper understanding of the works.The thesis is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,the significance of the topic and the status of domestic and foreign research;The second part is the background of the late Brahms era and the creation of this work.The third part,the analysis of the noumenon and the introduction of the three players and version;In the fourth part,the author analyzes the three deductive versions from the aspects of speed and strength,touch the key pedal,and combines his own analysis of the work and performance practice,hoping to provide theoretical support for the performance of the work,and hope to have more inspiration in the performance,so as to better interpret the work.
