The Significance Of Piano Accompaniment To The Singer's Artistic Instruction

This article is the theoretical research result about the art guides of piano accompaniment in the vocal teaching,based on former researches and experiences.By analyzing the musical feature and the its piano accompaniment on stage of Der Lindenbaum,the cooperative relationship between piano accompaniment and singer,together with the important role of piano accompaniment,is fully demonstrated.By conducting further research,the guidance role of piano accompaniment on different stages of vocal teaching is explained.Piano accompaniment is a comprehensive type of art performance,it is defined as the process of utilizing the specific tool of piano accompaniment to coach,direct and cooperate with all types of art performance.In the 20 th century,many first-rate pianists raised piano accompaniment into a professional level,including vocal accompaniment,instrumental accompaniment,dancing accompaniment,and opera accompaniment.With the development of vocal art,piano accompaniment which is an extension of piano accompanying has played an important role to direct vocal performances.Der Lindenbaum is the 5th piece of Shubert's Winterreise,one of Shubert's masterpieces.It is known as being a humble artistic conception,a succinct composition and a perfect artistic performance.Using the example of Der Lindenbaum and by analysing its piano accompaniment,harmony and music form,tonality,rhythm and musical feature,this study will thoroughly explain and discuss the importance of piano accompaniment on the vocal performances.
