Wei Hong,the famous master of the Old Text Confucianism in the early years of the Eastern Han Dynasty,who place in the History of the Later Han Dynasty,and has a prominent contribution in the field of the Old Text Confucianism.Wei Hong was born in the last years of the Western Han Dynasty,learning from Xie Manqing,Liu Xin,Du Lin and other classics master,and have a large stock of information on Confucianism.Later he served in the Eastern Han government,comply with the emperor's orders to revised classics,so he could read the palace books.This paper is based on the predecessors' research,thorough and meticulous textual research Wei Hong's life and academic activities,the focus is on the exploration of several important writings of Wei Hong.The text is divided into four chapter:The first chapter outlines the life and academic activities of Wei Hong,the main object of it is Wei Hong's learning and writing.The first section briefly introduces Wei Hong to study Mao's poem from Xie Manqing,to study Zhouli,the Spring and Autumn,and calendar from Liu Xin,to study the Old Text Shangshu from Du Lin.The second and third sections introduce Wei Hong's important academic works from his revised and writed.The second chapter makes a thorough study on Wei Hong and Mao's poem.This chapter is divided into four sections.The first section reviews the academic case on the Preface to Mao's Poems,and it is most appropriate to think of Wei Hong as the last author.The second section introduces the style of the Preface to Mao's Poems,and the exposed problems more proof that the Preface to Mao's Poems was not one alone written from the length,content,and rhetoric of the text.The third section focuses on the the Preface to Mao's Poems function,value and influence,the Preface to Mao's Poems has a profound influence on the ancient Chinese Society.The fourth section discusses how to treat the Preface to Mao's Poems.Scholars attach great importance to the Great Preface to Mao's Poems,in addition,but also should use screening.I suggest that the scholar give up the argument about the issue of the author of the Preface to Mao's Poems,it should be devoted to the study of its content itself and its ideological meaning.The third chapter is the study of Wei Hong's the Old Instrument of the Han Dynasty.This chapter is divided into three sections.The first section respectively from the Si Ku and Sun Xingyan research and comparison,show the collenction situation on the Old Instrument of the Han Dynasty,and briefly summarize their contributions.The second section from the official setting,the prime minister system,supervision system,the system of prefectures and counties,the feudal system,military system,introduced the official system of Western Han Dynasty Han in the Old Instrument of the Han Dynasty.The third section introduces the Western Han etiquette from Sacrificial Rites,Jitian Rites,Qinsang Rites,Meet Rites and Cefeng Rites in the Old Instrument of the Han Dynasty.The fourth chapter is the study of Wei Hong's other works.This chapter is divided into two sections.The first section is to explore the Old Text Official Book's academic status from the existing book and the relationship with other palaeography books.And also discusses the issues related to the dispute from title,writer and whether or not to be ordered.The second section gives a brief overview of the other academic contributions of Wei Hong.
