Contingency and necessity exist in various aspects of the development of things,as well as in artistic creation.At present,however,the focus and research on necessity is f ar more than contingency.Many people suppose that contingency is superficial and illus ory,and does not reflect the real ability of artists.But as it turns out,this neglect is just a kind of unwise prejudice.Because the existence of contingency can promote various d evelopment of art,enrich its expression form and improve the its expressiveness,playin g a key role in the artistic development.Many attitudes should be adopted to treat contin gency,such as proper attention,stress-excitation,effective grasping.As for how to do th ese?After the facts proved,only take the way of studying precedent achievements and s ummarizing experiences,can we grasping the rules effectively and guide future actions.Wu Guanzhong is a famous contemporary painter,educator and writer.Based on the fusion of Chinese and Western concept of life,he commits himself to the oil painting exploration and research of the nationalization,opening a door with a rich cultural heritage,strong willpower and hard practice for the fusion of Chinese Western art the and the localization of the Chinese oil painting.He is not only a successful case on the road of integration of Chinese and Western art,but also a milestones figure in China oil painting history.He leaves more than 2000 pieces of art works and millions of words during his whole life,and showed the most sincere heart in front of people.He perfectly interprets "art for art" all his life.Wu Guanzhong never stops climbing the peak of art,and finally donates all of his works and collections to the museum,this unsophisticated and noble spirits creates his life of the art.The most perfect and greatest work he left to the world 'is his wonderful life.For such an excellent people's artist,of course we need to research and inherit the essences of his characters,works,spirits and the artistic thoughts to promote the development of the art."Contingency" plays an indispensable role in Wu Guanzhong's long artistic life.Therefore,studying the relationship between contingency and painting is of great significance for the development of oil painting in our future.This paper studies the relationship between "contingency" and Wu Guanzhong's painting from five aspects.First,it reveals the connotation and causes of "contingency" in art creation from a unique perspective.Then combined with specific events and works,the relationship between Wu Guanzhong's painting and "contingency" was analyzed.The positive and realistic significance of "chance" to Wu Guanzhong's painting has been confirmed.Secondly,it discusses the uniqueness of the relationship between contingency and Wu Guanzhong's painting,and interviews contemporary painters about the "contingency"and Wu Guanzhong's paintings.It provides the relevant social public opinion and academic support for the study of the subject,and proves the value of the research.Finally,starting from my own creation,combined with the practice of research,I explain how to effectively utilize the relationship between "contingency," and painting in every aspect,prompting "contingency" to play a positive role in artistic creation.As the "chance" in art is a complex and difficult concept,it has gradually been drawn into the field of art academic research in recent years.So we don't want to give it to a comprehensive and accurate definition,just try to do some research and discussion,pointed out that the understanding of "contingency" from different angles,hope that we can get from the definition of "some inspiration and ideas of art creation and accidental"relationship.
