| The English writing class is very necessary for high school students and it plays an important role in teaching and learning.Teacher feedback is a traditional way in English writing.However,due to the large number of students and the limited time,teachers do not have enough energy to provide detailed feedback on the compositions of all students.Because of this,there is an urgent need for a way to help teachers to ease the pressure of correcting composition.With the development of science and technology,Jvku online automatic feedback has provided the possibility to solve this problem.This study takes two parallel classes of grade one in high school as the research subject,and adopts three methods: comparative analysis,questionnaire survey and interview.Based on Dynamic Assessment Theory and Process Writing Theory,it makes a comparative study about the effects of Jvku online automatic feedback and teacher feedback on the quality of senior students’ English writing,in order to find the answers of these three questions: 1.What are the similarities and differences in evaluation scores,evaluation methods and evaluation content of Jvku online automatic feedback and teacher feedback? 2.How do these two different feedback methods affect the lexicon,syntax,specification,structure and theme in English writing? 3.What are students’ and teachers’ attitude toward the Jvku online automatic feedback?The research results show that: 1.There are some same points between the Jvku online automatic feedback and the teacher feedback.For example,scores given by teachers and produced by the Jvku online automatic feedback tend to be roughly same,and both of these two feedback methods focus on the lexical,syntactical,and normative aspects of writing.However,the differences between these two feedback methods are even more obvious,which is reflected in the way and content of assessment.2.These two feedback methods can improve students’ writing ability and writing skills,but in different aspects.The Jvku online automatic feedback has a positive impact on students’ vocabulary,sentence’s structure and specification while the teacher feedback can affect all aspects of writing,especially the structure and theme.3.According to the results of the questionnaire survey and the results of the interview,most students are willing to use the Jvku online automatic feedback.They believe that it can expand vocabulary,improve writing enthusiasm,reduce writing anxiety,and increase self-confidence in writing.From the perspective of teachers,some teachers hold a positive attitude toward the online automatic feedback,and all of them want to have a try.They hope to combine it with the teacher feedback to help them reduce their burden and improve efficiency. |
