On The Development And Evolution Of Contemporary Military Dance Works

Since new China was founded,the military dance occupies an important position in the development of Chinese dance with its unique artistic style and depth of thought.Most of military dances are created and arranged by military art troupes,among which Frontline Troupe the most prominent one,in the 60 years history of development,the artistic achievements of Frontline Troupe had the lead in nationwide.With the development of the times,the position of Military Dance is also changing,the purpose of dance creation is more diverse,and the significance of dance creation is more far-reaching.Writer hopes that by studying the change of the Frontline Troupe work style,extends the thinking about the influence and significance of contemporary China military dance style changing.This study uses three methods:historical research,comparative analysis and oral history sorting.The first chapter reviews the concept,background and significant influence on Chinese dance of the military dance;based on fully understanding of theoretical basis,the writer summaries the three stages of the 60 years history of development of Frontline Troupe from the diachrony perspective,and conducts deep analysis the specific dance works;meanwhile writer interviews three choreographers in different ages about their creative ideas,which concludes the significance and direction of the development of the military dance in the new era.
