Qogrob(1914-1992)is famous contemporary Mongolian folk storyteller,lived in Haidai Gacha,Borhosh vv Svm,the South Hoshvv of Otog,Ordos City,Inner Mongolia.He was a well-known local lama.He was praised by the locals as "The Lama Storyteller" for his continuous story that told a half month.The story he told was collected and recorded twice by different cultural institutions.This Master's thesis is research the folk storyteller Qogrob's life and the story he tells.This Master's thesis consists of an introduction,a core part,a conclusion,a reference list,and an appendix.The introduction part explains the significance of the topic of the thesis,research trends and methods.The core part consists of three chapters:The first chapter reaserch the Qogrob 's birth years,surnames,and family profiles on the basis of books and field surveys about life of him.His life was divided into four parts:the Lama period,the returning communes period,the returning to the monastery to becoming the lama period,and the death.In addition,also gave a brief account his students and.the people lived around him.The second chapter mainly focuses on the history of QOGROB'S SOTORY recorded by the cultural institutions and individuals and to study the historical moments of the Qogrob's story.The third chapter sorted out the stories told by Qogrob.According to the content of the story,is divided into animal stories,magic stories,life stories,humorous stories,mythological stories and reaserch these types.and it compares the different versions of the same story told by Qogrob in two different periods and seeks the storyteller's development of telling story.The conclusion part summarizes the full text and reiterates the topic.
