A Comparative Study Of Vowels In Daur Dialect

To apply field investigation,detailed discription and historical comparative approaches,the thesis studies and compares the vowels of four daur language dialects,namely Buttha dialect,Hailar dialect,Qiqihar dialect and Xinjiang dialect.There are foreword,main body and conclusion in the thesis.Foreword thoroughly introduces daur nationality,research sitation of daur language,purpose and significance of the subject,as well as the research approaches and materials used.The main body consists of two parts,which is vowel phoneme system of daur language dialects and evolution of vowels of daur language.The first part analyzes the corresponding relationship among vowels of Buttha dialect,Hailar dialect,Qiqihar dialect and Xinjiang dialect of daur language from the synchonic perspective,by approching the method of detailed description.From diachronic and synchronic perspectives,a comparative study has been done among daur language,mongolian written language and medieval mongolian language,as well as between daur language and mongolian languages.On the basis,the second part probes into the changes of fronted vowels,long vowels,diphthongs and sound turn of"i"of daur language,by which the develoment laws and evolution featurs of the vowels have been revealed.In conclusion,the author summarizes the research results.
