Aesthetics As The Philosophy Of Creation

The poetry is the key and the core of Maritain's aesthetic thought.Maritain has endowed the poetry with cognitive and creative functions,which are embodied in the poetic intuition that Maritain calls.And Maritain considered poetry itself is the root of art and beauty.In Maritain's aesthetic thoughts,poetry is not a style,but the ability of the human spirit and its performance.Poetic intuition is to express the identity of the concrete existence obtained in the process of understanding,and this intuitive vision is creative.The concept of Maritain's poetry is also gradually to maturation.Maritain's aesthetic thoughts can be said to be closer to post-structuralism in view of the present day.Therefore,when he is deciphering his thoughts,he must see his reference to contemporary thoughts and breakthroughs so that we can understand Malitain more deeply.This paper is divided into four parts.Each part should be understood on the basis of the previous part.The first part mainly states the origin of Maritain's thoughts,which is divided into the external environment and the aesthetic thoughts of predecessors and the thoughts of Maritain's own aesthetics.The second part is Maritain's understanding of poetry from four dimensions.The poems are understood in terms of art,understanding of nature and self,works of art,and muse.The third part discusses the unconscious source of poetic intuition discussed by Maritain,the poetic intuition as a cognition,the poetic intuition as a creation,and the non-purposeness of a poetic cognition.The fourth part compares Maritain's theory of poetic intuition with Cassirer's semiotics and Bergson's intuition theory,and thus obtains Maritain's unique and profound grasp of human subjectivity and creativity.Because Maritain's philosophers who regard people as the priority and the post-structure philosophers coincide,then the author believes that Foucault's knowledge archaeology can be used to apply Maritain's theory of poetry to certain applications.Then the author tries to summarize the unique contribution of Maritain's aesthetics.
