Research On Li Tiefu's Painting Art

In 20 th century,as a leader in China to study the art of Western painting in the United States and Europe,Li Tiefu is one of the painters who have made great achievements in the study of Western painting in China over the recent one hundred years.His oil painting language is pure,the modelling design's foundation is solid,and the painting skill of realism is very high.His painting art is unique and has an extremely high academic value for the study of painting art.The key of this paper is Mr.Li how to explore and practise the painting language in his creation of art.The author aims to study Li's road of art and further understand the background of his creation.This is a base for us to study his painting language.Through analyzing and summarizing the artistic origin of Mr.Li in the course of studying western painting including his understanding of the western painting modeling law in Britain and the inheritance of Sargent and Chase's painting art in the United States,He digested them based on traditional Chinese art.By the analysis and discussion of his work of different subjects,we can know his way to digest the Western painting art and traditional Chinese art.The paper is to establish the historical status of Mr.Li in the development of Chinese painting art and to sum up the value of his painting art.The author hope that through such a new perspective to restore history and make the public learn a real painter Li Tiefu.In the author's view,it is Li's bad fate and his unsociability that lead to the overlook in his artistic role in the history of the development of Chinese painting art.Now things change.His painting skills and art theory system and his epoch-making art status should should be attached importance to.His exploration of the practice of painting art,the summary of the concept of painting art and the inheritance of aesthetic principles in western painting art and Chinese traditional art are significant for our study of painting.
