There are many reasons for the formation of Virginia's feminist ideas, while her family life, changes of times and her taking part in the bloomsbury group did have impressive influence on her.A room of one's own is a central explanation of Virginia's feminist core, she reveals the history and the status of women ' s existence, and gives a corresponding solutions. Her novel to the lighthouse is the most typical literary expression of her feminist thoughts:house angel Mrs Ramsey is the typical woman who fails to subvert the men ' s rights;paintress Lily and James means the realization of androgyny.Virginia's feminist thoughts provided a direction for improving the status of women in modern benighted countries, and aroused the concern of people especially women with their inner spiritual world, and also inspired the modern people to build the harmonious sexual relations;however her feminist thoughts had its limitations such as the class nature, obscure language, and the idea of androgyny is too idealistic.
