| As "Four outstanding painters in Yuan dynasty",Wang Meng is one of the representatives among the landscape painters in Yuan dynasty.The Painting "Seclusion in Bian Mountain" created by him was appreciated by many famous artists.Wang Meng’s landscape painting not only shows strong artistic accomplishment as well as simple and elegant feelings,but also innovates,dares to explore and pursues the art realm of the unity of man and nature on the basis of predecessors.Finally,he formed a unique artistic style,which has a far-reaching impact on the landscape painting of later generations.This paper mainly studies the artistic characteristics of Wang Meng’s landscape painting.Through analyzing the special historical background and the relationship between Wang Meng and his teacher,it deeply analyzes the origin of the formation of Wang Meng’s landscape painting art.By studying the painting form and painting language of "Seclusion in Bian Mountain",this paper summarizes the painting characteristics of Wang Meng’s landscape painting from three aspects,i.e.,composition,application of brush and ink as well as spiritual interest.Combined with my own creative practice,it is applied to my own painting from nature and creation.Through studying the painting form of Wang Meng’s landscape painting and artistic appreciation,the author has a new understanding and harvest about the painting concept and artistic appreciation of men of letters in Yuan dynasty.From composition to artistic conception,from brush-ink language to painting style and from showing nature to personal feelings expression,all of them convey the humanistic care of Chinese landscape painting and personalization of landscape painting. |
