This paper will start with the close and concrete connection in similar layout, expression techniques, and rock formation between the representative work of Ming Dynasty's artist,Shen Zhou,——High Lushan Mountain, created in his middle age and the representative work of Yuan Dynasty's artist,Wang Meng——Qingbian Hermitage Picture.Combining the background of the two people, the relationship between social relations, genre, collection and inheritance, this paper expounds the Ming Dynasty in which the painting art was in a special period. The influence of Ming Dynasty's politics, economy and culture on painting led to the situation that the majority of painters in Ming Dynasty sold their paintings for a living.Academic stylists would rather copy than create works themselves.Under such circumstance,Wangmeng has exerted the most direct influence on Shenzhou in painting style. If there is a direct reference relationship between two works discussed above,it shows that in different times, periodically copying and learning from the classics and masterpieces of predecessors can also make a representative work of the artist, which also reflects the consistency of the spiritual pursuit of Chinese painting or the implicit consistency of the spiritual pursuit of future generations and predecessors. |
