Giacomo Puccini is the most influential opera composer after Verdi. As one of the representatives of realistic opera school, his works are mostly drawn from the real life of the people. The opera Turandot is the last and most influential opera in his opera writing career."Turandot",which Puccini wrote by the essence of his life,is also a summary of his opera career.Among the many popular classics,Prince Kalaf's aria "Don't grieve" is one of them.In the course of reading and arranging the relevant documents,I find that there are quite a lot of documents about Puccini and his operas, but there are only a few studies on Prince Kalaf, the hero in his opera Turandot. In these documents, almost all of them have studied the characters of Karlaf alone,or the singing analysis of some selected passages in opera "Turandot",but there has not been a research on the combination of characters and singing analysis. This paper hopes that by relying on the image of Prince Karaf and adding the analysis of the selected passages of singing,we can grasp the works more accurately and delicately, and encourage more vocal music learners and music learners to do so.Lovers from sensual to rational, understanding and more indepth excavation of Puccini's works. The first chapter is Puccini and Turandot. This chapter is divided into three parts, the first part is a brief introduction to Puccini's life. The second part is about the background of Turandot, the third part is the brief narration of Turandot. The second chapter is the analysis of the characters of the protagonist Prince Karaf in the opera. The first part is the analysis of Caraf's own characters, including the wise and brave Karraf, the kindness of Kalaf and the persistence of love. The second part is the musical image of Karraf, which includes two characters: calmness and hot love. The third chapter is the analysis of "Don't grieve",which is divided into two parts. The first part is the comparison of the two singers, through the comparison of their timbre and vocal skills. The second part is the author through his own practice, linked to the language rhythm, breath, emotion, these three main aspects of the elaboration. The last chapter is the conclusion.
