There are many legends about Hu Yiyang,a strange man in Jiaodong Peninsula.He studied Yi and Neo-Confucianism all his life.He could predict natural disasters early,avoid risks and help people to produce agricultural products,thus benefiting the people and making a lasting impression.At the same time,Hu Yiyang has written a Book of his in-depth study of the Book of Changes and its theory for many years.His works have been handed down to the present day and have been printed and published after being sorted out by later generations.As a sage of Buyi Township,he pays special attention to the education of future generations,leaving valuable and simple family lessons,which still has profound practical significance.Although he also advocated that future generations read more books,he did not want future generations to take credit and enter the official career.Instead,he only asked future generations to read slowly and conscientiously when they were idle.Don't pursue the merit and fame of the scientific examination,which is the most different point between his family training and that of other officials and eunuchs.Because of the mystery of his life and death,it is quite legendary,and in later generations it is deduced as a rich content of "Hu Yiyang legend".In the process of passing on legends from mouth to mouth,local people have also been processed and recreated,and many stories with similar plots and different versions have appeared,which enriches folk culture and deserves our study."Hu Yiyang Legend" was also listed in the fourth batch of "national intangible cultural heritage" in 2014.Because Hu Yiyang is known as "Hu Sanye" and is involved with the fox fairy known as "Hu Sanye",the phenomenon of the combination of Hu Yiyang worship and fox fairy worship appears in the spreading process of folklore.In addition,"Hu Yiyang Legend" as a local belief,permeates with the local opera Liuqiang and Yiyang Ancient Opera,and promotes the development of cultural industry in Jiaodong Peninsula.In writing this paper,the author pays attention to the inheritance,adaptation and development of Hu Yiyang belief from ancient times to present.As a folk belief,it can adapt to the trend of economic and political development in the development process,keep pace with the times,and constantly renew its vitality.
