The Image Shaping And Humanistic Appeals Of Minority Intangible Cultural Heritage In The Documentary "The Shadow Of The Swordsman"

Documentary is a form of the video art based on reality.It searches for a foothold in the diverse value systems to observe and describe social environment and the relation between human and nature so as to achieve the exploration of and concern for the meaning of human existence.The intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities has been an important part of traditional culture,which reflected the spiritual kernel of traditional culture."Imperial Memory" selected the intangible cultural heritage of the Korean nationality as the foothold and retained images of their intangible cultural heritage with video recording so as to carry forward the unique cultural heritage.This paper mainly includes four parts.In part 1,the author introduced the value of the topic selected in documentary "Imperial Memory" from the following three aspects:theme,character portraying and the spiritual kernel showing care for the tradition;part 2is the discussion of the documentary's image expression of the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities from the composition of picture,the rhythm of music and the metaphorical scenes;part3 is the exploration of the humanistic appeal of the works,respectively from the display of humanistic characteristics,the appeal of group identity and the reflection of the implication of inheritance.in part 4,the author looked into the reality and difficulties in "Imperial Memory".
