Manufacturing Guoxue: A Study Of A University's Guoxue Club

In recent years,the word "guoxue" appears frequently in public view,which seems to set off a wave of guoxue.But what is guoxue is a question that is clear to some people,but vague when some people find its reasoning.When looking back on history,many scholars are used to looking for the basic principles of traditional guoxue studies from the pre-Qin period,and their studies on "guoxue" are mostly based on academic principles and historical aspects.Based on the experience of previous scholars,this paper will reflect on the reality,so as to discuss the dilemma and changes of traditional culture in the development of modern society,and further discuss the relationship between tradition and modernity.By observing the community activities of a sinology club,this paper describes the process in which these college students make the “guoxue” with their own understanding.In this process,they have their own understanding of traditional cultural resources,and also expropriate modern resources.In the face of the modernization process,the guoxue club has carried out a new interpretation of "guoxue",but it also faced with a lot of difficulties.Through the understanding of traditional cultural resources and the absorption of modern resources,the sinology club conveys a view of learning.In this process,this concept should not only affect people's life,but also give people a special significance,but in the face of the market economy day.In the modern society of beneficial development,the view of learning advocated by the sinology club does not seem to be completely connected with the present society.In modern society,as a cultural phenomenon,the influence of “guoxue”learning on individuals should be paid more attention to.In this paper,participatory observation,process event analysis and in-depth interview are used to collect the required information.In the whole process of field investigation,these methods complement each other and play a vital role in the collection and collation of information.In the whole process of the field,the author entered the community as a "member",which provided great convenience for the participation and observation.I could personally experience their activities and feel how they expressed and practiced the "guoxue".In this process,I tried to understand the information related to the research topic.
