Steel wire string Rewap in Northern Xinjiang(SRNX),is improved musical instrument according kashi rewap in the 1960s and 1970s,it inherits rewap characteristics,brought a great contribution to the development of Uygur music.At present,there is less research content on the SRNX of the academic field.This paper starts from the formation history,development context,improvement process,application practice and existence value of the SRNX,introduces the current situation of SRNX.Taking the traditional music "Tashway" as an example,the performance characteristics,performance form and music style of the instrument were analyzed.In the process of collecting the wind and writing the thesis,the author combines the research methods of ethnomusicology and sociology.According to my experience in learning the SRNX and the performance,I introduced the "Kashi Rewap","SRNX",music "Tashway" and other basic content.In the opening of the article,the previous research contents of"Rewap" were reviewed,and some research results from around 1980 to the present,including the history of the rewap,the compilation of music,the improvement results,were highlighted.Some of the literature content that has reference value for this article.The main content of the article is divided into the background of the Xinjiang Uygur rewap,SRNX Status,"Tashway" as an example to describe the characteristics of SRNX music style,and Research conclusion.In the first chapter:The first is to elaborate on the origin and development of the Uyghur Rewap through historical literature review.Secondly,according to the literature reading and collecting the wind,divided into six rewap,include:Kashi rewap,Dolan rewap,Hami rewap,Shepherd rewap,Bass rewap and improvement rewap.The third is the division of the Uyghur rewap music's existence,including the solo form,the form of singing,and Dapu,Gijak,and the rewapu in Muqam.In the second chapter:The first is to introduce the SRNX,to analyze its origin and development history,shape and difference with kashi rewap.The second is to summarize the performance characteristics of the SRNX,including the characteristics of the instrument,playing posture,playing skills and notes in the performance.The third is to summarize the current situation of SRNX and Kashi rewap.The last part analyzes the musical characteristics of the SRNX.In the third chapter:It introduces the background and creative features of the work,analyzes the content of the music creation,and also compares the differences between the SRNX and kashi rewap in the performance of the work.In the conclusion,the music style,existence value,inheritance and prospect of the SRNX are described.
