The Changes And Thinking Of Erhu Strings

String are the main component of stringed instruments.As a national stringed instrument;the choice of materials;quality;related production and specifications of the strings have always affected many factors such as erhu's tone,volume and aesthetics.This is also the performance of erhu and topics that the researcher concerned about.In recent years,the tone problems of erhu's wire strings have gradually attracted the attention of the industry.The topic of erhu strings has been mentioned by the public once again.Among them,it indicates people's recognition and reflection on various tones of erhu and traditional aesthetics.In this paper,through combing the history of erhu's development,the historical transformation from the silk string to the steel wire string and combing the changes of several important time nodes:At first,the initial attempt made by Mr.Lv Wencheng in the early 1920s;Secondly;in the 1940s,the experimental is applied by the late 100-year-old musician Mr.Zhang Zirui,which is from the initial wire in the telephone line instead of the wire string,and then to the trial production of the first set of steel wire string instead of silk string;The third,in the 1950s,through the first application and promotion by Mr.Zhang Zirui,steel wire string was attempted at the first performance in the National Orchestra,which was first established in New China in 1950,has since been famous in the country,and then led to big changes in other national musical instruments;The fourth is the gradual improvement of erhu's steel wire string.After Zhang Zirui developed the steel wire string,it was promoted by the erhu performer educator Mr.Zhang Wei,and gradually replaced the silk string in the country.In the paper,there is a more detailed systematic review of this history,which is well known,but no detailed literature.In addition,through exploring the advantages and disadvantages about the use of contemporary erhu's wire string and the investigation and study about the use of erhu string,the cultural significance of the current erhu string is studied and explored more profound.Finally,I hoped this paper could be the systematic expansion and the completeness for the history of erhu's development.
