A Logical Study Of Chinese "double Negation"

Negation is a basic philosophical category,which has been studied in the fields of logic,philosophy,linguistics and so on.In China,there are many scholars in the field of linguistics who have studied the phenomenon of double negation,such as Ding Shengshu's "Modern Chinese Grammar speech" and so on.However,many problems of double negation have not been completely solved and consensus has not been reached in many aspects.Therefore,this paper will study the definition and category of double negation in detail,and explore the logical forms and characteristics of different types of double negation.This paper explores the double negation of modal judgment from the study of double negation of modal judgment in narrow sense to the study of double negation of generalized modal judgment,for example,Deontic mode and Epistemic mode.From the point of view of logic,I put forward my views about the definition of double negation,the relationship between double negation and affirmation,and the existence of double negative complex sentences.And a special kind of double negation is proposed: multiple double negation.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.It mainly introduces the current situation of double negation research,the main purpose,the research methods of this paper and the source of the corpus.In the second chapter,I put forward internal negation and external negation.It perfects the traditional modal logic matrix.And I expound the relationship between various negatives.The third chapter defines the double negation of non-modal judgment from the logic level,and puts forward my own views on the existence of double-negative complex sentence in Chinese.And this chapter expounds the double negative complex sentence logical formal classification.Chapter four is the double negation of modal judgment.It probes into the double negation of modal judgment in narrow sense and the double negation of Deontic modal judgment,and analyzes the relationship between the various modes double negation.I put forward my own opinion on whether double negation is equal to affirmative.At the same time,several special modal double negations are analyzed,and multiple double negation is put forward.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,summarizes the research results of this paper,and puts forward the shortcomings of the article and the direction of future efforts.
