The Informational Constitution And Negation Of Double-verb Sentence

This paper attempts to analyze the informational constitution of double-verb sentences and their negating approaches and types, which shows a profile of infinite spoken language. Then it can provide us a new researching method of the relation between the informational mechanism and constitution during communication. Information is based on spoken language, however, it can exist without the form, for we just receive the meaning of others' words not the form, In this paper, we focus on the constitution of double-verb structure and penetrate into the domain of information. No matter people or computers, if they want to comprehend natural language completely, the analysis on form and meaning is insufficient. We arrive at the conclusion that the essential function of language is to transmit information.The first part of the paper, with the focus on information sequence and topic-theme structure, illustrates the informational constitution of double-verb sentences. The construction of spoken language is a multi-level chain full of various information which can be simplified through communication. The return to original information sequence displays the thinking order which lies beneath people's brains. We use the sequent questioning to show the information sequence. Meanwhile, a topic-theme structure is used to describe the information construction. An information structure consists of a topic and a theme. In this way, a series of topic-theme structures make up a complex chain including old and new information.The second part contrasts information structure with syntax structure and semantic structure. Information structure is quite different from syntax and semantic ones, which makes it a unique system. The analysis on information structure is to interpret the cognition of human language. Compared with information and syntax structures, we find that informational and form sequences are not in concert with each other all the time. Semantic relation can be clarified through decomposing the informational constitution.The third part discusses the information negating approaches and types. The discussion leads to a hypothesis that the information negation is a special performance of spoken language which can be realized hi dialogues or monologues. The two pieces of opposite information depends on each other. As a kind of performance, information negation can only exist after another sentence.
