An Exploration Of The Form And Composition Of David Hockney's Works

This paper studies and analyzes the unique form composition of the works of British artist David Hockney,including the analysis and exploration of the plane composition of scene paintings and the comparative study of the David Hockney's road paintings with the characteristics of Chinese landscape painting composition.First of all,David Hockney created a collage that represents personal characteristics in Popper art,and used this form of expression to carry David Hockney's main method of spatial divergence perspective theory.In these works,Hockney advocated that the scene boundaries of the objects depicted in the works be related to factors such as motion,time,and space reproduction,and created an interesting piece of work that led the audience to imagine the infinite form of the screen.Then the plane composition of David Hockney's scene painting work "Walking outside the hotel court,Alantelan" is explored and analyzed,mainly starting from the spatial composition and elemental composition of the screen.Its purpose is to add a timeline to a four-dimensional space in a three-dimensional space,and the form of the screen is deformed,breaking the general spatial boundary of the two-dimensional space in the audience's impression from the senses.In the plane composition of this work,David Hockney uses a simple and clear geometric splicing,and uses a bright and bright color to create a form,not only strengthening the structural spatial sense,but also strengthening the rich sense of color.The expression of the picture is decorative.Then this paper makes a comparative study of David Hockney road painting with features of Chinese landscape painting composition,and makes a comparative study of the theory of "three far methods" proposed by famous painting theorist Guo XI in the Northern Song dynasty.Finally,it is a practical study on the experience of my research on the form of David Hockney's works.He borrowed the creative means of David Hockney's works from his own works.Try to break the traditional perspective rule and choose the multi-point perspective principle of fuzzy boundary.
