From the point of view of the development of regional cultural industry,this paper analyzes the difficulties and countermeasures encountered by the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art(MASS MoCA)and its creative mode of operation.Focus on how museums,a pillar of a declining industrial city,energize North Adams.This paper explores how a museum can make use of cultural and creative resources to expand its scale and influence,promote the development of regional cultural industry,and drive the transformation and development of the city.After the research and on-the-spot investigation,it is found that whether the regional development can promote the development of regional economy with the help of the development of cultural industry,and whether there is a rigid requirement for the law of the regional development stage,whether it is a city or a town.Moreover,how to integrate the regional cultural industry with the local existing industry,and the characteristic development is the problem that this paper wants to solve in a concentrated way.The relationship between the historical narrative process such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Massachusetts and the specific cultural system and environment in the United States can be described as auxiliary dentition.What can be concluded in this paper is that when supporting regional cultural industry development projects within the American cultural system,it is not only the cooperation of time and space,but also the cooperation of institutions and policies,strategies and cooperation.Industry and cooperation provide ideas for the development of regional cultural industries.
