Wu Changshuo's Research On The Theme Of Plum Blossoms

As one of the most famous Chinese painter,Wu Changshuo has a high degree of accomplishment in poetry,books,paintings and printing fields who plays an indispensable role in Chinese painting history.However,scholars researched and discussed Wu Changshuo mostly about his Chinese calligraphy and special engraving style in the painting.The research on his single subject of single painting alone is insufficient and not deep enough.This article employs three chapters to discuss the developmental origins of plum blossom theme in history,discuss the inheritance and development of plum blossom painting in Wu Changshuo’s paintings and history;briefly describe the influence of Wu Changshuo’s life on his artistic proposition,and the painting on the theme of plum blossoms.The embodiment of poetry,the contrast of plum blossoms in different periods;and Wu Changshuo’s profound influence on the creation and artistic creation of Mei Shi’s theme.By analyzing the background of the era,the encounter between life and the artistic concept of Wu Changshuo,I discovered the important influence of the background of the times on the choice of the theme of the artist.The meaning of the theme itself can reflect the inner spirit of the artist’s performance.Plum blossom is an important export for Wu Changshuo to convey emotions and express ideas.Plum blossoms and Wu Changshuo’s ups and downs of life encounters,combined with the aesthetic ideas and unique artistic skills that transcend the times,have a long-lasting and splendid vitality.
