A Preliminary Exploration Of The Sense Of Form In Contemporary Meticulous Figure Painting

Modernity is a visual experience which created by the overall atmosphere of the times.As a modern person,we must have the visual experience of this era,and it will be reflected in various fields inevitably.The modernity art is the aesthetic trend that given to creators by this era.What is the difference between today's paintings and those works compared to ancient painters? As a contemporary painter,I explored this phenomenon of “modernity” through the differences in the form of paintings.Since the contemporary meticulous figure painting developed,the change in the form of the picture is undoubtedly a huge and breakthrough part.This paper mainly used the phenomenon of "modernity" and "modern temperament" which embodied in the picture form of contemporary meticulous figure paintings as a start to study the formal sense of the picture.From the view of the evolution of Chinese modern art style,the form of "modernity" is a combination of traditional meticulous painting characteristics and modern Western painting concepts,making the paintings more and more close to the direction of integrity,planeness,and sense of structure.Then,through the two aspects of composition and color,in the end,the paper finally conducted practical research in the creation,and drew a deeper understanding and thinking on this subject,that is,the investigation of the form of the picture in contemporary art,let the form become conscious.In the research and practice of this subject,I chose the theme of women and cats to express the kind of young women in urban,behind their independent and powerful inner hearts,they have warm and soft lifestyles,and the cats were act as a map of the women.It also reflected the deep dependence of women.Through the two aspects of color and composition,I enhance the visual impact and form sense of the picture,highlight the emotional atmosphere of the picture,express the loneliness and optimism of the petty bourgeoisie life,and further,convey the strength and warmth of the urban young women.
