This paper takes the rupture of Salvador Dali and the surrealist school as the entry point and mainly expounds the formation and characteristics of Dali's surrealist style of painting,which is divided into four chapters.In author's opinion,the surrealist school represented by Breton had a certain influence on Dali's surrealist paintings with its proposition in the first declaration period.Both of them advocated Freud's psychoanalytic theory about the expression of subconscious and dreams.The so-called paranoiac analysis method of Dali himself is the writing techniques of its surrealist painting.The essence of this method is a process of exploring the artist's subconscious mind,and then processing it consciously,and finally presenting it with grotesque and peculiar pictures.Dali's surrealist painting comprehensively expounds the discussion on the human ego,id and superego in the Freudian theory.While,the form of Dali's surrealist paintings which are full of magic and mysticism is still influence a large number of artists up to today.The reason is that this form of creation is the excavation to show the spiritual world of people and their endless imagination.
