At present,educational technology has become an inexhaustible driving force for the development of education and teaching.This study utilizes the advantages of gamification teaching of “Scratch”,a simple graphical programming tool,to explores new methods for the gamification teaching of oral English.Improve the teaching status of oral English course,and gradually improve the quality of teaching.This paper takes the seventh grade students as the research object,and takes the teaching of oral English based on Scratch as the research content.By investigating the current learning and teaching situation in oral English course,analyzes the feasibility of the gamification teaching of the Scratch.And puts forward the gamification teaching practice process,involving Scratch pre-class create teaching games to enrich teaching resources;Scratch in-class use the games to stimulate interest in learning;Scratch after-class practice games to improve the expression ability of oral English.The teaching process has divided into three stages.After each stage,students' learning effect and the application about Scratch will be analyzed and summarized timely by after-class interview,teacher reflection and other methods.The key of this paper is to designed a gamification teaching program for oral English and created some Scratch oral English teaching games which is suitable for the program and applied it into the teaching practice.From the analysis of the practical results,it is proved that the Scratch gamification teaching method has realized the teaching advantages and learning effects that cannot be achieved in the previous oral English course.It has innovated the traditional teaching method in oral English course,meeting the requirements of the era of information education,and can be used for reference to the Scratch gamification teaching of other subjects.
