In the 17th century,British music was prominent in Europe, but with the death of purser, there were few world-famous composers in Britain. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the center of music was in the European continent, but there were no world-influential composers in Britain,so it was called“the dark period”in the history of British music. In the second half of the 19th century,British music began to revive.A group of important composers, such as Elgar,Vaughan Williams and Britten, injected fresh blood into the stagnant British music and established a new standard for British music.Frederick Delius?born January 29,1862,at Bradford, died June 10,1934 at Grates?because one of the most distinctive composers in the history of British music in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, thanks to his multi-national travels.Delius'works not only inherit the creative style of late romanticism, but also integrate the creation style of folk music and impressionism. The diversity of his creative style is more mature and fully reflected in his late works.By sorting out the overall creative style of Frederick Delius, this paper focuses on the analysis and research of the four representative works in his late period, and explores the diversity and integration of composer's creative techniques and styles.
