On The Point, Line And Surface In The Modeling Of Figure Painting

Points,lines,and planes are the basic elements that make up a painting,and are no exception in a Chinese figure painting.This paper tries to clarify the manifestation of points,lines and planes in pictures one by one from the perspective of figure painting modeling,and then analyze the relationship among them.Through examples,this paper illustrates the concrete manifestation of points,lines and planes in traditional classical figure paintings.At the same time,combined with the experience of the combination and application of points,lines and planes in my own works,so as to summarize some shortcomings,definite goals of the future,and seek direction for the development of personal style in days to come.
