A Study On The Corresponding Expressions Of Chinese Idioms Containing Location Nouns In Uyghur Language

Idioms are an important part of Chinese vocabulary,which is vivid,interesting and meaningful.There are more than 18,000 idioms in the Dictionary of Idioms(2013)published by the Commercial Press.The number of idioms,the depth of culture,the stability of the structure and the abundance of ideologies make idioms become a representative research object in Chinese.In recent years,the study of idioms emerges in endlessly,the angle is diverse,the content is rich,the achievement is numerous.As a special member of Chinese part of speech,orientational nouns have special functions and usages,among which simple orientational words are mostly used in idioms,including "dong","nan","xi","bei","shang","xia","qian","hou","zuo","you","li","wai","nei","zhong","jian","pang".This thesis combines idioms with orientational nouns,249 idioms with Chinese and Uyghur languages are collected and sorted out as corpus,and they are studied under the contrast between Chinese and Uyghur languages.At present,there are few research results in the study of idioms containing orientational nouns.The author believes that these idioms are of great research value in terms of number,scope of use and frequency.As "one of the characteristics of Chinese traditional culture",Chinese idioms are a key and difficult point in both teaching Chinese as a foreign language and teaching Chinese to ethnic minorities at home.If we only use the method of "memorizing by rote",it is difficult for learners to achieve accurate understanding and proficient use of language acquisition level.Therefore,the classification and analysis of idioms from different angles can be effective in both language contrastive research and language teaching.This paper is divided into five chapters,and analyzes the structural and semantic characteristics of Chinese idioms with orientational nouns.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the purpose and significance,research theory and methods of this paper,and explains the corpus and the transliteration symbols of Uyghur characters used in this paper.The second chapter is the literature review part,which analyzes and summarizes the current situation of Chinese idioms,Uyghur idioms,the corresponding expression of Chinese idioms in Uyghur language and so on.And explain the concept and classification in the later chapters of this paper.The third chapter analyzes the corpus from the structural point of view,analyzing the structural characteristics of Chinese idioms comparing their corresponding expression structural characteristics in Uyghur language.The fourth chapter analyzes the corpus from the perspective of semantics,compares the corresponding expressions between Chinese and Uyghur language,and finds out the phenomena of semantic transfer.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,which combs and summarizes the research content of this paper,points out the value and shortcomings of this paper,and puts forward some suggestions for future research and learning.
