Research On Contemporary Chinese Cultural Confidence

Culture is the soul of a country and a nation.Cultural prosperity leads to country’s prosperity,a strong culture makes a strong nation.Without a high degree of cultural confidence and cultural prosperity,there would be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The cultural confidence we advocate comes from the excellent traditional culture bred by the Chinese nation during over 5,000 years of civilization history,and the revolutionary culture and socialist advanced culture created by the party which leads the people to make revolution,construction and reform,it is also rooted in the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Whether retrospecting our tradition or scanning contemporary,we all have sufficient reasons to strengthen cultural confidence.At present,China’s economic and social development has made great achievements,and it has laid a solid material foundation for the firmness of cultural confidence.Cultural confidence can be expressed in different forms.At the same time,we should also realize that in the complex context of globalization,marketization and networking,further strengthening of cultural confidence also faces certain difficulties.To break through the real dilemma and make the Chinese people truly strengthen their cultural confidence and create a new glory of Chinese culture,it is necessary to continuously enhance the vitality of outstanding traditional culture,expand the appeal of revolutionary culture,meanwhile,strengthen the cohesiveness of advanced socialist culture,improve the competitiveness and influence of our culture.This paper mainly conducts basic theoretical research from the following aspects:The first part is the introduction,which mainly involves the present condition of the study in cultural confidence,significance of the topic,the research status,the innovation points and deficiencies of the thesis.The second part is the exposition of contemporary Chinese cultural confidence.First of all,the cultural theory is analyzed from the perspective of historical materialism.Culture comes from social practice,and its essence is the objectification of human essential power.The main body of culture is the masses of the people,and culture has a class characteristic.The ultimate goal of the proletarian culture is to promote the free and integrated development of human beings.Secondly,it analyzes the connotation of cultural confidence and the content of cultural confidence.Cultural confidence is mainly the confidence of Chinese excellent traditional culture,red revolutionary culture and socialist advanced culture.Last but not least,strengthening cultural confidence has important practical significance for strengthening confidence in our path,guiding theories,and political system,and building a socialist cultural power and realizing national rejuvenation.The third part is the analyze of present station in contemporary Chinese cultural confidence.It mainly includes the formation basis,main performance and realistic dilemma of cultural self-confidence.The scientific guidance of Marxist theory provides a theoretical basis for cultural self-confidence.At present,the great achievements of China’s economic development have laid a material foundation for cultural self-confidence.The superiority of the socialist system provides institutional guarantee for cultural self-confidence.On the basis of scientific theoretical guidance and realistic achievements,cultural self-confidence presents different forms of expression.But at the same time,we should also recognize the real dilemma faced by cultural self-confidence in the context of globalization,marketization and networking.The forth part is that combining the content of cultural confidence and the dilemma we are faced with,we put forward the specific path.of strengthening cultural confidence,which mainly includes enhancing the vitality of excellent traditional culture,expanding the influence of revolutionary culture,enhancing the cohesiveness of advanced socialist culture,and improving cultural competitiveness as well as influence.
