| With the development of mobile Internet and the increasingly powerful function of mobile phones,mobile phone use has become an indispensable activity in college students’ study and life.The excessive use of mobile phones by college students makes the phenomenon of mobile phone addiction common among college students.Mobile phone addiction refers to the excessive use of mobile phones,which is beyond the control of individuals,resulting in an obsession with mobile phones,thus impairing their physiological,psychological and social functions.How to prevent college students’mobile phone addiction has become the focus of many researchers,and the impact of family factors,especially parental conflict,on mobile phone addiction has attracted the attention of many researchers.Previous studies have examined the direct impact of perceived parental conflict on mobile phone addiction.However,few studies have explored the internal mechanism of perceived parental conflict on College Students’mobile phone addiction.Research objectives and methods:In order to reveal the mediating role of adult attachment and self-esteem in college students’ perception of parental conflict and mobile phone addiction,426 college students were surveyed with the Child Perceived Parental Conflict Inventory(CPIC),Mobile Phone Addiction Index Inventory(MPAI),Adult Attachment Scale(AAS)and Self-esteem Scale(SES),and data entry management and description were conducted with SPSS21.0.Sex statistics and correlation analysis were used to construct a chain mediation model of attachment anxiety and self-esteem between perceived parental conflict and mobile phone addiction by using Mplus 7.0 software,and the significance test of mediation effect was carried out to reveal the internal mechanism of perceived parental conflict on mobile phone addiction of College students.The results are as follows:(1)College students who participated in the study had a moderate degree of mobile phone addiction.(2)Boys perceive more parental conflicts than girls,and boys believe that when there is conflict between parents,both parents can solve the problem well.(3)College students from cities and towns are more likely to establish good intimate relationships with their peers,and they are more confident about the stability of the relationships they have established.(4)The self-esteem level of college students from cities and towns is higher.(5)Perceived parental conflict,mobile phone addiction and attachment anxiety were positively correlated,while self-esteem was negatively correlated with perceived parental conflict,attachment anxiety and mobile phone addiction.(6)Attachment anxiety plays a simple mediating role in the relationship between perceived parental conflict and mobile phone addiction;self-esteem plays a simple mediating role in the relationship between perceived parental conflict and mobile phone addiction;attachment anxiety-self-esteem plays a chain mediating role in the relationship between perceived parental conflict and mobile phone addiction.In conclusion,perceived parental conflict indirectly affects mobile phone addiction through the chain mediation of adult attachment and self-esteem.This finding suggests that we need to reduce parental conflict on the one hand and mobile phone addiction on the other hand by changing the level of adult attachment and self-esteem. |
