A Retrospective Analysis Of The Development Of Photography Education In Chinese Colleges And Universities

Photography art has changed all aspects of our lives.The professional education of photography has also affected the cultivation of photographers in China.At the same time,it has satisfied peopled desire to express images.Since the mid and late 1990s,photography education has undeigone 20 years of development and gradually improved.On the one hand,photography exists as an interest class in the initial photography training.On the other hand,the visual impact of photography art in the new media era is obvious.Therefore,through the history,direction and methods of the development of photography education in Chinese universities,the author reviews the process from early photography training to photography education,hoping that photography education can get the attention of colleges and universities.The understanding and viewpoint of education make us more aware of the importance of photography courses.Through the general situation of photography specialty in undergraduate and postgraduate stages,the comparison between comprehensive universities and art colleges,the curriculum system and training program of photography specialty in schools are analyzed.From the curriculum setting,we can see that the gradual evolution of photography can make photography education more standardized and perfect,and also can provide an important guarantee for college photography education.At the same time,this paper will focus on the analysis of the professional profiles of Beijing Film Academy and Nanjing Normal University,analysis and Reflection on photography education in China's universities,absorb the advantages and resources of foreign photography education,and improve the standardization level of photography education in domestic universities.Through the analysis and review of this paper,the author hopes to provide some reference for photography education,and to understand the advantages and disadvantages of photography more clearly,so as to give enlightenment for the future development of photography in Colleges and universities.
