Ma Liang was named "the fifty most important international visual artists in the contemporary era" by Mac magazine.He believed that visual art was silent but ambiguous and could be described as a container by others,because part of its function was to carry other people's emotions.People in Ma Liang's pictures seem to live in the present,but inexplicably they still have nostalgia for the past They are like a big child,lingering in such a "dream" place as a huge amusement park.The audience watched with a little mockery and a little banter,and then turned around and suddenly found that it was just like themselves.It is precisely because of this that his photographs can constantly find endless interesting in the ordinary.Starting from the analysis of the causes and characteristics of Ma Liang's image style and the exploration of the creative and expressive methods of Ma Liang's image works,this paper starts with the representative works of different periods in the process of gradual change of his creative style after Ma Liang's transition to art photography.The purpose is to hope that we can turn our attention to the creation of young artists in China.Hope that through the image study of Ma Liang,more people can understand the development of young artists in China and their shining points.The whole paper is roughly divided into three parts:Chapter one analyses the origin and process of the formation of Ma Liang's image style and the development of Ma Liang's surrealism;Chapter two mainly analyses the formation of Ma Liang's image style by combining the works of different stages in the ten years after Ma Liang's conversion to photography creation;Chapter three analyses the formation of Ma Liang's image style through the creation of Ma Liang.By exploring various creative methods,Ma Liang's love for Chinese traditional culture and the application of Chinese elements,etc.,this paper summarizes Ma Liang's image art's non-imitation,and intuitively sees an excellent artis's passion for creation and his persistence of the most sincere desire in his heart.
