Research On The Development Of Exploratory Juvenile Novels In The New Era

Exploratory young adult novels are one of the outstanding achievements in children's literature in the new era.It is a valuable research work to sort out the track of its occurrence,development and evolution from the perspective of periodicals.This thesis analyzes the multiple causes of the rise of exploratory young adult literature in the 1980 s,and I think it is because of the guidance of “the concept of youth” in the modern sense that young adult novels are separated from children's fiction;in the process of breaking through “the theory of educational tools”,young adult novels make bold exploration,develop their own pace,present a different style from traditional children's novels,and become more magnificent inspired by adult literature and leaded by publishing efforts.The exploratory young adult novels in the 1980 s presented a pluralistic aesthetic style,and this thesis analyzes and explores the achievements of this literary trend through specific texts published in Jiangsu Young Adult Literature and Art : Chang Xingang established a solemn and stirring,boundless and powerful style by watching tragic reality and growing pains intently;Ban Ma and Dong Hongyou seek strength from "original" and "folk" to make their works full of savagery and energy;Chen Danyan and Wei Ling,two women writers whose works are girlish,paid attention to the physical and mental changes of adolescent girls and began to write about “the nature of growth” which emerged the gender perspective in children's literature.It is the hard work of these writers that promotes the aesthetic process of young adult literature and casts the prosperous situation of children's literature directly in the new era.In the 1990 s,the creative context of young adult literature has undergone a great change.Some writers turn into the market,and popular young adult literature emerges suddenly with its prosperous creation and huge audience,which becomes a literary landscape that cannot be ignored,and the discusses this phenomenon by taking Rao Xueman's young adult novels as examples;while there are still a group of children's literature writers and editors who adhere to the pure artistic pursuit and carry out the exploration and experiment of pioneer young-adult novels,such as the "new experience novel" column of Jiangsu Young Adult Literature and Art.There is no end to the exploration of art,whose trajectory,fate and prospects deserve thinking deeply and profoundly.
