Tribute To Love

Robert Schumann is a German composer,pianist and music critic.A typical representative figure in the early Romantic music history in the first half of the 19 th century.He has created a large number of artistic songs in his life.This paper focuses on the analysis of two popular works of Schumann's vocal suite "The Myrtle" and "The Nutcracker Tree",explores their creative characteristics,and analyses their singing style,in order to summarize the overall artistic characteristics of the suite.This vocal suite was created when Schumann got married in 1840.It expresses the girl's longing for love and joy as a whole.It is full of poetic,picturesque,vivid and fantastic.It is a very representative expression of Schumann's pursuit of poetic and romantic artistic feelings and creative style.This paper mainly explores its creative characteristics and singing analysis from the following aspects.First of all,we should understand the composer's life and main works,and the background of the times when this work came into being.Secondly,the paper makes a concrete analysis of "Dedication" and "Walnut Tree",including the form and sound,melody rhythm,piano accompaniment,emotional expression and singing treatment,etc.Finally,the creation characteristics of the Divertimento "Myrtle" are analyzed,summarized,sorted out and summarized.I hope that through the overall analysis of the Divertimento "Myrtle",we can give some deeper understanding to the later students who sing Schumann's vocal music works,learn more from this work,and also provide some insights for the later students who come into contact with this work.
