"Inkstone" Has Left A Voice: The Market And Local Society Of Sizhou Stone Inkstone From The Perspective Of Historical Anthropology

From the perspective of historical anthropology,this paper studies sizhou stone stone and writes a historical ethnography of "stone stone".Based on the description of the local social development process centering on the stone carving technique of sizhou,which has been carried on since the Ming dynasty,combining with the field investigation,focusing on the mobility of stone and the development of the market network,this paper focuses on the interaction between the central government and the frontier society as well as the internal process of the frontier society.From the horizontal aspect,this paper studies the circulation of sizhou stone as a commodity in the market,and focuses on the interaction between local bureaucratic authority and folk authority in sizhou under the dual influences of national political measures and market network.From the longitudinal perspective,how to turn sizhou stone into a kind of cultural symbol capital from local features in the process of sizhou stone flowing upward as tribute,and how this cultural symbol capital reacts on sizhou local society.The paper is divided into seven parts.In the introduction part,the author introduces the background,purpose and significance of the research,reviews the research,explains the research content,research ideas,methods and innovations.The second part discusses the belief world,production space and quality of sizhou stone mining.In the third part,the author studies the sizhou stone as a flowing gift,and then discusses the mediating role of sizhou stone as a commodity,tribute and specialty in the communication between the central government,border provinces and friendly neighbors.In the fourth part,through discussing the attribute transformation of sizhou stone from "tribute" to "collection",we study the movement of sizhou stone and the undercurrent of local politics.In the fifth part,through the symbolization process of sizhou stone stone brand and the competition of symbol capital,and the analysis of the inheritance of craftsmanship,faction differentiation and market segmentation of contemporary inkstone craftsmen,the paper studies the shaping,competition and market segmentation of sizhou stone stone brand symbol.The sixth part focuses on the busy provincial intangible cultural heritage "goods" and the stagnant stone sales market,analyzes the attributes of sizhou stone as cultural products and market commodities,and the reasons for the depression of sizhou stone market.The seventh part is the conclusion and discussion.The author believes that the movement of sizhou stone,a kind of object with a specific consumer group,can reflect the interaction between sizhou local society and the central dynasty.The balance of power between state control and social autonomy in border areas is to ease conflicts and tensions through constant communication,consultation and adjustment.In the process of sizhou's regional social development centering on shiyan stone,the decisive factor that constitutes the balance of social dynamics of regional development is not only the formation of market network in the economic sense,but also influenced by comprehensive factors such as law,state power,family and media.This course of dynamic balance must be placed in the political and economic society of the central government and thenation state to grasp the development of sizhou stone.This dynamic change of the cultural power network based on economic strength and political power to the legal solution is the key to understand the historical changes of sizhou local society.
