Research On The Phonetic Contact Between Zhoucun Dialect And Mandarin

Language contact performs as an important feature in the development of the human language,and it is also a hot topic in the study of linguistics.Language contact is definitely a motivation of the language evolution.The study of language contact involves not only the study of language ontology,but also the study of human cultural processes involved in language contact.However,traditional language contact research is mostly concentrated between systems with large differences in typology.The study of language contact with small differences in typology is relatively weak though certain achievements has been achieved.In the past few decades,with the fast development of the urbanization and the society,population movements have become more frequent so the study of language contact has become increasingly important and urgent.In particular,the contact between languages with less typological differences between Mandarin and dialect has received increasing attention from scholars at home and abroad.In this work,the author studies the Zhoucun District with the voice as the entry point through the field survey to obtain the first-hand corpus of the old Zhoucun dialect,the new Zhoucun dialect and the Mandarin.Based on the synchronic perspective,we investigate the changes in Zhoucun dialect under the influence of Mandarin.The Zhoucun dialect belongs to a speech system that is less different from Mandarin and has frequent contact with Mandarin,which is a typical contact between languages with little typological difference.In this work we take the phonetic contact between Zhoucun dialect and Mandarin as an example and discusses the law and characteristics of dialect changes under the influence of Mandarin.The points of this paper contain two aspects: in theoretical aspect,language contact is a research hotspot in linguistics.The focus of traditional language contact is mainly on dialects with large differences in linguistic typology.The study of contacts between different dialects within the same language is still relatively weak,and this article is a study in this field.Through the analysis of the new Zhoucun dialect under the influence of Mandarin,the contact between languages with less differences in Mandarin is studied.In the practical aspect,the mutated Zhoucun dialect provides a new corpus for the study of Zhoucun dialect in the future.This work starts at the pronunciation of Zhoucun dialect and explores the history and culture behind it.It has certain value for protecting Zhoucun culture and exploring the synergy of dialects in today's society and Mandarin,and the protection and inheritance of dialects.Language is an important tool for communication.Different regions have their own language expression habits and expressions.These unique expressions record the unique historical culture of the region.Therefore,the study of the pronunciation of Zhoucun dialect can explore the history and culture behind it.At the same time,this work dynamically sees the influence of Mandarin dialects from the differences between old and new dialects.It can provide reference for speech recognition,especially the dialect area,and help young Zhoucun people to grasp the pronunciation skills of Mandarin more easily on the basis of mastering their hometown dialect.Furthermore,this work can provide more or less inspirations for the investigations of any other dialect.Based on the extensive research results of the language contact and dialect contact,we conduct the field survey by using a list of 3412 words as the reading material to collect the pronunciation of the old Zhoucun dialect,new Zhoucun dialect and the Mandarin.Through the analysis and comparison of these three,we strive to systematically and scientifically study the corresponding law of Zhoucun dialect and Mandarin and the variation generated during the contact process,and analyze the causes of this mutation.This work contains seven sections.The first section introduces a general statement and the purpose of the research as well as the relevant situation of Zhoucun District of Zibo.The research overview contains the motivations for choosing the topic,the existed research results and the significance of research.This paper introduces the geographical location,historical evolution,humanistic background and dialect in Zhoucun District of Zibo City.The survey overview part explains the speaker information,investigation produre,research methods,field surveys,and phonetic symbols.The second Section summarizes the current situation of the contact between Zhoucun dialect and Mandarin,mainly focusing on the main types of contact between Zhoucun dialect and Mandarin,the related theories of language contact and variation,the variation caused by Zhoucun dialect and Mandarin.Expand discussion.The next three sections analyze the old-fashioned Zhoucun dialect,the new Zhoucun dialect and the first-hand phonetic materials of Mandarin.By comparing the initials,finals and tonal systems of the old Zhoucun dialect,the new Zhoucun dialect and the Mandarin,we explore the variation of the new Zhoucun dialects under the influence of Mandarin and analyze the causes of such mutations,which enriches the study of contact between languages with less linguistic typology.In the sixth section,the new thinking on the phonetic contact between Zhoucun dialect and Mandarin is put forward based on the above summary.The last section is the conclusion that summarizes the content of the full text,and considers the potential improvement of this article.This paper finds that during the contact between Zhoucun dialect and Mandarin,Zhoucun dialectic pronunciation has changed under the influence of Mandarin.From a static point of view,the Zhoucun dialect has undergone varying degrees of variation in the three levels of initials,finals and tones,among which the tonal changes are most obvious,followed by the finals and initials.However,as a speech system independent of Mandarin,Zhoucun dialect still maintains its own stability.The number of words that have mutated accounts for a small proportion of the total number of words.Most of the new Zhoucun dialects are consistent with the old-school pronunciation,or in the initials.One or two levels of the final,the final,and the tones have the characteristics of Mandarin.
