Shostakovich's Piano Prelude(OP.34)was written in the 1930 s.It was a period when Shostakovich's ideas matured and he achieved fruitful results in his creation.This work contains 24 piano preludes.It is a work of great appreciation and use value.The author will study the artistic characteristics of Op.34 No.1-6 in the 24 preludes from three aspects: the nationality of harmony techniques,the inheritance of mode and tonality,and the diversity of themes.The main research methods are literature research method and comparative research method.At the same time,the rhythm,intensity control and timbre treatment needed to be mastered in playing these six preludes are interpreted,hoping to provide some useful help and reference for researchers and performers.
