With the development of science and technology era and information technology,the film industry has gradually entered a new era.It is undoubtedly an obvious sign of film reform to use advanced technology in the production process-digital special effects.By means of comparison,this paper analyses the differences between digital special effects movies in the new era and early traditional movies from the perspective of technology and art,and concludes that the emergence of digital special effects is a double-edged sword.It plays an important role in the current film industry.At the same time,its abuse will also affect the artistic characteristics of the film content.As a technology of film production,digital special effects are a double-edged sword.In terms of the way it presents its content,through the comparison of expressive techniques,creative methods and audiovisual language,this paper analyses a large number of movies produced with digital special effects.Through the analysis of the influence of the application of digital special effects on films,under the development of new technology in the new era,whether the single method of early film production can continue to lead the mainstream of films,and whether digital special effects can inherit the production process of traditional films,so as to innovate a new way to use more films,so as to integrate film art and technology,is an important idea discussed in this paper.
