Research On Tao An's Collected Works Of Mr. Tao Xueshi

Tao An was one of the representatives of neo-confucianism scholars in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty.His poems and articles not only reflect the characteristics of literary creation in the Yuan and Ming dynasties,but also have their personal characteristics.The main researches of this paper are based on The Collection of Tao Xueshi(?????????),so as to have a comprehensive analysis of Tao An's literature creations and thoughts.With the background of the late yuan dynasty,the author makes a more profound study of Tao An's life and creation.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is mainly about the biographical sketch,experience and works of Tao An.An investigation of tao an's life reveals the influence of social context and courtiers on his character and values.The second chapter focuses on Tao An's thought of Confucianism and literature.Tao An advocated peace under the background of the late Yuan and early Ming dynasty,and the action of advocating ancient masters in poetry and prose was in accordance with the mainstream.The third chapter,starting with the analysis of the genre and content of Tao An's poems,investigates the inheritance and development of his poems to his own literary thoughts.The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of Tao An's article creation,comprehensively considering its characteristics in genre,content and style.The fifth chapter,by comparing Tao An with Song Lian,and " SAN Yang " 's works of secretariat style,profoundly analyze its creation's characteristics and influence.Tao and Song,as the founding ministers of the early Ming dynasty,created their works both with the theme of eulogy and promotion of peace,and with the function of teaching and preaching.Nevertheless,their different political experiences and unique outlook on life also reflect their different mentality.Compared with "SAN Yang",the style and realistic content of Tao An's poetry can better reflect the characteristics of the creation of civil servants in the early Ming dynasty.Tao An not only id the inheritor of Zhu Xi's philosophical principles,but also is an important official in the early Ming dynasty,which caused the collision between neo-confucianism and politics in Tao's life.This paper makes a comprehensive study of Tao An,which benefits to the studies of literary group in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty,and the inheritance and evolution of neo-confucianism and other literary phenomena.
