Research On The Moral Education Function Of Chinese Traditional Festival Culture

Chinese traditional festivals are rooted in the soil of agricultural society.In the long history,they constantly absorb and integrate the core values,moral concepts and other ideological essence of Chinese traditional culture,and gradually form social and cultural activities and collective cultural memory with rich and colorful folk customs as the carrier.The cultural connotation of traditional festivals is broad and profound,carrying the spiritual blood of the traditional Chinese culture,condensing the deep feelings of the ancient working people.It has become an important intangible cultural heritage of our country and a valuable resource for the current construction of cultural soft power.Under the background of economic globalization,cultural exchanges among countries are becoming more and more frequent,and people's way of life and ideas have undergone tremendous changes.People have lost their deep feelings for traditional festival culture,and the cultural connotation of traditional festivals is gradually losing.At the same time,with the full penetration of Western culture,Christmas,Valentine's Day and other "foreign festivals" quickly poured into our modern life,set off a hot pursuit among the youth groups.Therefore,how to inherit our traditional festival culture is facing unprecedented practical difficulties.After putting forward the guiding ideology of "Chinese Dream" at the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it was further clarified that moral education resources of traditional festival culture should be excavated in depth from the perspective of cultural self-confidence.The Nineteenth National Congress of the CPC emphasized that the construction of socialist core values must seek the ideological source from excellent traditional culture.Therefore,in order to deeply tap the moral education resources of traditional festival culture,we must closely conform to the socialist core values so as to inject fresh blood into the traditional festival culture and bring its contemporary value into play.This article will dig out the moral education factors in traditional festival culture,point out the shortcomings in the application of moral education function,and give concrete suggestions from many aspects.While strengthening the moral education function of traditional festival culture,we should inherit and carry forward our excellent traditional culture.The article is divided into four parts:The first part introduces the general situation of Chinese traditional festivals and explains the profound connotation of festival culture.The second part demonstrates and analyses the preconditions of the study,that is,to explore the necessity of stimulating the moral education function of traditional festival culture.The third part points out the moral education function and realistic predicament of traditional festival culture in China.The fourth part puts forward concrete ideas and methods on how to strengthen the moral education function of traditional festival culture.
