In traditional folk custom in China,the burial has been a very important content,with the rapid development of modern economy and the impact of foreign culture,make a lot of traditional customs slowly disappeared,but the burial ceremony of folk culture in the thousands of years of evolution process is very good,it is not only to the imperial ancestors with modern thinking of life,also reflect the cultural characteristics of regional,ethnic,and then became a cultural phenomenon.Lusheng,as a spiritual "instrument" in miao funeral rites,has a special significance.It carries the cultural and historical changes of the miao people over thousands of years.Up to now,the miao people are all over the country and even the world,and their cultural customs in different regions are quite different.Buried,the sacrifices of the miao culture,lusheng music as a special medium of communication between life and death and even two of the world,and play an important role between the living and the dead,the living through under the background of gradually formed in the specific historical development and perfect of the burial ceremony,"to the sound generation words" the undead convey information,has become the indispensable part of the burial ceremony.In the past studies on miao culture,most of them took southeast guizhou region of China or hunan and yunnan province as the objects.In the research direction,most of them took lusheng music and dance,marriage or festivals as the research target,and there were few studies on the south sichuan region.Therefore,the research on sacrifice and burial ceremony and ceremony music culture of the south sichuan miao nationality was more scarce.Burial ritual music culture research involves the scope is very broad,the connotation is extremely complex,the author on the basis of a large amount of literature review,wenxin county of yibin in southern sichuan province has carried on the on-the-spot investigation,the local miao burial ritual process,lusheng manufacture craft and the ritual music edition in detail,from the local miao the burial ceremony process and behavior,the analysis of the characteristics of lusheng music to study which contains the meaning of culture.Through the study of lusheng music in the sacrifice and burial ceremony of the miao nationality in xingwen county,it is found that its essence is the product generated by the cultural belief of the nationality under a certain historical environment.In the "animism" of the miao nationality,the ultimate purpose of the sacrifice and burial ceremony music is mainly to express the respect of the living for the dead.In the function of music,there is a difference between "near-belief" and "near-secular".In the "near-belief",lusheng music needs to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information when transmitting information to the dead,so it is different from the "near-secular" music in the "solidification" and "change" of music structure.
