Information Visualization Design Of The Handbook Of Emergency Knowledge For Earthquake Preparedness And Disaster Mitigation

The earth on which human beings depend has been in motion and change all the time since its formation.Over the past century,with the increase of population and density,and the rapid development of urbanization,the threat of earthquakes to people’s lives and property and the destruction of human society have become more and more intense.Especially at present,people can not predict when earthquakes will occur.Once an earthquake occurs,it will cause people difficult to estimate in tens of seconds or even seconds.Losses,so that people can not bear the psychological,people have a sense of fear of earthquakes,it is regarded as the most serious natural disasters."Knowing earthquake" will not "fear earthquake".China is a country with frequent earthquakes.The popularization of knowledge on earthquake prevention and disaster reduction can improve the scientific quality of the public,correctly understand earthquakes,grasp the common knowledge and skills of earthquake prevention and disaster prevention,master the basic knowledge of self-protection,eliminate the "fear of earthquakes" mentality,and scientifically deal with earthquake disasters,so as to reduce casualties and economic losses caused by earthquakes.With the acceleration of modern life rhythm,dense text books are becoming increasingly unsuitable for people’s demand for popular science knowledge.In this paper,we try to publicize the knowledge of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction to the public in the form of information visualization design.Information visualization design can enable us to quickly and effectively understand the transmission of information.It surpasses the advantages of language and writing.On the basis of scientific,accurate and easy to read,it vividly conveys the knowledge image of earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation emergency to the public.This paper designs two different manuals for different age groups.The research and design of the general knowledge Handbook for earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation is based on the original text edition books,replacing the text content which is not interested by the audience with graphics,diagrams and charts that can fully express the meaning of the text.Designed in the text,color,graphics,manuals and other aspects of the book,create manuals suitable for different age groups.In the visual form of visual design,the manual effectively and intuitively disseminates the text content of common sense of earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation emergency,and tries to "pass" knowledge and information to readers in a way close to the readers in the design,so that readers can read common sense knowledge of earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation emergency more easily,easily understand and easy to remember.At the same time,this manual strives to make the public understand the knowledge of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction emergency response,improve their awareness of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction,so that they can live in safety and think about danger,establish awareness of prevention-oriented,prepare for emergency work,when disaster comes,keep calm and calm,and strive to minimize the possible disaster losses caused by the earthquake.
