In 2001,“Education on Actively Promoting English Course in Primary Schools” requires that English education should begin at grade 3 in primary schools.Many scholars(such as Wang duqin)point out that game teaching method can not only improve students' interest in English courses,but also stimulate students' learning potential.The students of grade three in primary school is initial step of learning English.They are lively,active and attentive,and full of curiosity and freshness of English.Lu Ziwen thinks that English game teaching not only accords with students' characteristics,but also keeps students' freshness and curiosity about English in the grade three.Poring over existing literatures,the author found out that most of the existing literature focused on the primary school English game teaching.The existing research has also neglected the differences in geography about English game teaching.In terms of teaching conditions,teaching level and teaching qualities,rural primary schools are generally far lower than those of urban primary schools.Considering how wide this gap is,Developing rural education should be conducive to improving the awareness of the correct use of game teaching for primary school teachers in villages and towns,strengthening the ability of three grade English teachers' game teaching in Wanzhou rural primary schools,cultivating students' interest in English learning and improving the overall level of English game teaching in most rural areas in china,say Wanzhou.This article first defines the related concepts of the game,and introduces the related theories of English game teaching and the relevant research on the primary school game teaching at home and abroad;then the paper makes an investigation and analysis of the three grade English Teaching in Wanzhou rural primary School by the methods of literature review,questionnaire,interview and classroom observation.Through data collation and analysis,the author finds that there are some shortcomings in the English game teaching in the grade three of the rural primary school in Wanzhou District.Then the author puts forward some reasonable measures for the shortcomings of English game teaching in grade three of Wanzhou primary school.Finally,the author makes a summaryand reflection on the full text,and points out the shortcomings of this study and the direction of further research.
